Mothers struggling with issues related to their
adult kids tend to feel all alone in the world.
We suffer in silence due to two widespread and misconceived
cultural myths: first, that our job as parents is obsolete
once our children are grown, and, second, that we've done
a terrible job if our children aren't functioning perfectly
by the time they reach the age of eighteen.
